Fancy Face Artist Feature – Shannon

IMG_3290

Shannon is one of Fancy Face Inc.’s senior hairstylists and a favourite amongst many of our clients! She discovered her passion for hairstyling at an early age, spending hours braiding and roller setting all her girlfriends’ hair. She grew up in New York and worked for ten years behind the chair in an upscale salon. Even though she loved the salon setting, she realized that bridal always held a special place in her heart and eventually decided to specialize in bridal and special events. When she came to Toronto 5 years ago, she trained at Toni & Guy and Aveda Academy. Her work has been featured in editorial spreads and published in Elegant Wedding Magazine.

What was the most memorable moment of your career?

It was one of my first brides here in Toronto and during her trial she was in tears, blown away by how much she loved her hair. She said it was better than anything she could have even imagined. To exceed her expectations and witness this was such a beautiful moment for me.
