Products & Tips

Hey beauties, the time has finally come to chat all things Paris! 💗 In this blog post, Brittany and I will take you through our 7-day adventure in the city of love. From garnering inspiration for the brand to exciting meetings, and endless exploration, we have so much to share with you!

Parisian Lip Combo for Summer:

Let’s start with the obvious, shall we? To our surprise, we were captivated by the peachy tones throughout our trip to Paris. Brittany came up with a stunning lip combo that has become our go-to for the summer. Britt would line her lips with our Nude Lip Liner, then go in with Bardot Lipstick & Forbidden Fruit Coquette Lip Stain/Balm, and top with After Hours Lip Gloss. We cannot get enough of the colour it gives as well as the finish. If a satin dress could be a lip texture it would be this!

Complexion tips in Paris

Achieving the Perfect Complexion in Paris:

Now, let’s talk about achieving a flawless complexion in the Parisian heat. Europe in the summer is no joke. We quickly realized that a fresh, lightweight, and glowy base was essential. Say goodbye to heavy foundations and hello to BB Cream. Our experience taught us that using cream-based products and lightly setting the T-zone with a pressed translucent powder helps combat sweat and excess oils. If you use too much powder the sweat and heat will break up your base making it look blotchy. Remember, a little extra glow is in!

Products used in creating our daily, glowy, lightweight base: BB Cream in Light/Medium, Perk Up Concealer, Chisel Me Contour Stick, Blossom Cream Blush, Glazed & Cheeky Blush Topper (for extra dewiness), Dew-U Highlight, and Flawless Setting Powder.

Must-Have Travel Essentials:

Apart from our makeup routine, there were two products we couldn’t live without during our trip: Supermodel Lip Bath and Stardust Gel Eye Masks. These travel essentials accompanied us on the plane and throughout our days in Paris, providing much-needed hydration and care for our lips and under-eye area.

Insider Tips and Recommendations for Paris:

As for the trips, tricks, and recommendations were here to spill all the tea.

  1. Embrace Walking: Walk as much as you can to truly experience the city’s beauty. Magical markets, charming shops, and picturesque streets await you at every turn. You’ll be surprised to find that many destinations are just a short walk away from each other.
  2. Plan for Picnics: If you plan to have a picnic by the river or near the Eiffel Tower, research nearby grocery stores or shops in advance. This ensures you have everything you need for a delightful charcuterie board. We learned this the hard way but don’t want you to miss out!
  3. Stay in a Hotel: When visiting Paris during the summer, opt for a hotel stay. Unlike apartments or Airbnbs, hotels offer the much-needed relief of air conditioning. Having a cool room to retreat to after a day of exploration is a game-changer.
