In this blog post, we’re sharing everything you need to know about using illuminée for brighter, smoother, more awakened eyes. Plus, for anyone who’s feeling a little extra – a step-by-step guide to our signature Enlightening Brightening Application Technique.

How to Use
The first steps in your skin routine, both morning and night, should be to cleanse, tone, apply any serums, and then apply illuminée eye serum to the eye area.
- Apply 2 small dots (half a pea-sized amount) to the corners of each eye. A little product goes a long way – all you need is a tiny amount to treat both eyes, morning and night. So, expect this little dream tube to last you a long time!
- Using the gold tip applicator, penetrate the product around the orbital area (aka the skin around your eye!) by using light, circular motions. Remember, rubbing = wrinkles! Use your ring finger to gently pat the serum into the skin.
- Let the product fully absorb before moving on to makeup application. For concealer, our incredibly brightening Perk Up Pen.

Signature Application Technique
We often say that the eyes are the window to the soul. And just like our souls, the skin around the eyes is especially delicate and prone to damage if we don’t take care of it. This is why we recommend using our signature Enlightening Brightening Application Technique for a little skin & soul TLC.
The game changer? Combining our cooling applicator with a drainage/acupressure movement. This helps to promote blood flow, reduce puffiness, and soothe the eye area.
Use the following steps for a more enlightened skincare routine:
- Reset your mind: Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths, breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth. Allow yourself space to connect with yourself and give your skin the care and nourishment it needs to thrive.
- Third eye application: Using the gold tip applicator, apply 3 small dots of illuminée eye serum to the outer corner of each eye and then one dot to the third eye – aka the pineal gland, aka the doorway to enlightenment.
- Acupressure for the eyes: Next, place your index finger on the top of the gold tip applicator, press and hold for 3 seconds on the outer edge of the brow, the inner eye, and the third eye area.
- Smooth it all out: Using the gold tip applicator with a light hand, gently glide the applicator around each eye – starting at the outer corner, working over the brows and gliding under the eyes towards the temple. Pat in any excess product with your ring finger.
- Begin or end your day slowly, more mindfully, and let your light shine through!
