First and foremost, let’s chat about one of the most commonly asked questions. “What is the proper order of my skincare?” We always say the rule of thumb is to go from thinnest consistency to thickest. After your face is washed you’d then use a toner or an essence if you use one, then serum -> moisturizer -> oil. If you are using a retinol you’d want to sandwich it between serum & moisturizer to prevent dryness.

What is it?
Illuminée is first and foremost, an eye serum and not an eye cream! We have found over the years working with different eye creams both personally and professionally that they are simply too thick. After lengthy research we came to realize that using too thick of an eye cream is the result of milia (those little white bumps that appear around the eyes). This is because the skin under our eyes is much thinner than the rest of the skin on our face and when an eye cream is too thick the skin isn’t able to properly absorb it resulting in excess product sitting on the skin turning into milia.
